Dashboard

The home page, the sidebar, getting around the app, and what each role can do.

The home page, with four stats and one card per kind of waiting work.

Home page

Dashboard is the first entry in the sidebar. It shows four stats, a box to ask the assistant, and Needs attention.

Stats

Tile Counts Window
Open conversations Conversations with the Open status, outside the archive Shows 200+ once more than 200 are open
New this week Conversations started, with a per-day sparkline and the change against the week before. The hint reads vs last week, or Same as last week The last 7 days
Satisfaction Average star rating, to one decimal, with N ratings in 30 days under it. With no ratings it shows None yet and No ratings in the last 30 days The last 30 days
Open signals Bugs and suggestions nobody has triaged yet Up to 100

Ask box

The Ask Median anything box starts a chat with the assistant and opens it. Attach files with the plus button, by dropping them on the box, or by pasting. View chat history under the box lists your earlier chats. See Assistant.

Needs attention

One card per kind of waiting work. A card appears only when it has something in it. Each shows its count, the three newest rows, and View all. With nothing waiting, the section reads All clear.

Card Appears when Who sees it Rows open Read more
Needs your reply An open, unsnoozed conversation where the agent asked for a person, or one a teammate took over that has an unread customer message and belongs to you or to nobody Everyone The conversation Inbox
Tool approvals A tool call from the agent is waiting for a yes or no Everyone The conversation Approvals

Needs fixing has no View all. It lists one row per kind of problem.

owner/repo is not syncing, naming a GitHub repository or docs site connected to Knowledge Knowledge
A tool endpoint is failing, or N tool endpoints are failing Agent → Tools
A webhook is failing to deliver, or N webhooks are failing to deliver Settings → API, for admins and owners. Members see Ask an admin and no link

The inbox count follows the same rule as Needs your reply. The signal count stops at 100. A count of zero hides the badge.

Getting around

  • Search at the top of the sidebar opens the command palette.
  • Collapse at the bottom folds the sidebar to icons. Expand brings it back. A folded row shows a dot in place of its count.
  • Drag the sidebar’s edge to resize it. Drag it all the way in to fold it. Double-click the edge to reset the width. Your browser remembers both.
  • On a small screen, the menu button in the header opens the sidebar as a drawer, and a search button replaces the sidebar’s Search.
  • The lifebuoy button in the header opens a chat with the Median team. When you have unread replies, a count replaces the icon. Docs opens this site.

The organization switcher sits in the header, beside the logo. It lists every organization you belong to, with a check on the current one. Pick another to switch.

New organization opens Create an organization.
